Description

Great upgrade for all 1.9 CDTi with remapped ECU. Perfect for fast road and track use, as fitted to our AIRTEC demo car.

Test Results @ AmD Tuning in Essex 11/02/14 – Test vehicle fitted with AIRTEC intercooler and “dyno’d with” standard map, then remapped with AmD Stage1 remap & then dyno’d again.

• Standard Map with AIRTEC intercooler Run 1 – Intake temperature 115 degrees (charge air temp going into intercooler) & 13 degrees outlet temperature (charge air temp coming out of intercooler)
• Standard Map with AIRTEC intercooler Run 2– Intake temperature 118 degrees (charge air temp going into intercooler) & 18 degrees outlet temperature (charge air temp coming out of intercooler)
• Standard Map with AIRTEC intercooler Run 3 – Intake temperature 119 degrees (charge air temp going into intercooler) & 18 degrees outlet temperature (charge air temp coming out of intercooler)
• Over the 3 test runs the Airtec intercooler cooled down the charged Air Temperature by an average of 100 degree’s

 

• Stage 1 Map with AIRTEC intercooler Run 1 – Intake temperature 128 degrees (charge air temp going into intercooler) & 19 degrees outlet temperature (charge air temp coming out of intercooler)
• Stage 1 Map with AIRTEC intercooler Run 2– Intake temperature 128 degrees (charge air temp going into intercooler) & 23 degrees outlet temperature (charge air temp coming out of intercooler)
• Stage 1 Map with AIRTEC intercooler Run 3 – Intake temperature 136 degrees (charge air temp going into intercooler) & 25 degrees outlet temperature (charge air temp coming out of intercooler)
• Over the 3 test runs the AIRTEC intercooler cooled down the charged air temperature by an average of 100 degrees
